As I'm sure many of you have heard, Sarah Palin is officially resigning as Alaska State Govenor leaving in her place Sean Parnell. She was in long enough to fuck up our gas pipeline, make Alaska a laughingstock, demean women's rights, and make me disgusted to be a Republican - She's not the only one, of course - but thankfully, she's gone. Her PR rep announced she has full intentions of running for president, but I bet by then Obama will still be running strong or the Republican party will have restructured and her hey-day will be gone completely.

So, three cheers with me!

Oh - and of COURSE, this resignation has nothing to do with her rumored 7 million dollar book deal.
